[OSEN=표재민 기자] CL’s new song “HELLO BITCHES” has been unveiled.
CL released her new song “HELLO BITCHES” for free on music-sharing website SOUNDCLOUD today (Nov. 21), at 21 o’clock (Korean time). The song’s choreography video was also released on YG’s official blog(www.yg-life.com), music-specialist website “Noisey”(noisey.vice.com), and fashion channel “I-D” (i-d.vice.com), drawing keen attention from music fans.
“HELLO BITCHES” is CL’s new song with impressively bouncy beat and catchy sound, which is released as pre-promotion for CL’s project for her solo debut in the United States. YG’s main producer TEDDY and Jean-Baptiste composed the song, with TEDDY, CL, Danny Chung, and Jean-Baptiste writing the lyrics.
The choreography video of “HELLO BITCHES” released with the music is also eye-catching. The video was shot in LA in September. World-famous choreographer Parris Goebel who worked on BIGBANG’s “BANG BANG BANG” and TAEYANG’s “RINGA LINGA” worked as the director and producer of CL’s choreography video.
In the video of dark and intense colors and fancy camera work, CL boasts her unrivaled charisma with powerful and sexy choreography. CL is displaying fancy dance from the beginning in black outfit, with Paris Goebel’s ReQuest Dance crew. In the middle of the video, New Yorker fashion magazine “PAPER MAGAZINE” covered by CL and Jeremy Scott appears to catch the eyes. CL’s facial expression stands out in the scene in which CL dances with other dancers under red lighting.
Along with the release of the music and the choreography video, CL’s interview in which she talked about her feelings about the new release also draws interest. In an interview of music-specialist website “Noisey”(noisey.vice.com), CL said, “I’m grateful for people who believe and support me. The new release is just a beginning and only a small part of many things I have been preparing for.” She also talked about her idea about the free release of her new song, “I wanted to do something for fans and the choreography video came out very satisfying. I decided to release my new song for free so that many people can enjoy it. So, it is a kind of gift for fans.”
In an interview with “I-D”(i-d.vice.com) released on the same day, CL expressed her intention to make different trials in her music and style, saying, “I wanna always challenge for new things. I hope to try diverse characters and will try different styles consistently.”
CL who is drawing keen attention for her pre-promotion single “HELLO BITCHES” has completed her album to be released in the States and the music video of the album’s title track. As the very first step of the countdown for her debut in the States, CL will attend 2015 MAMA(Mnet Asian Music Awards) to be held on December 2 in Hong Kong, to present fancy performances.
